TUMMY TUCK ORLANDO
Smoother & Firmer Abdominal Profile
Tummy Tuck Surgery, also known as abdominoplasty, removes excess skin and fat from the middle and lower abdomen and tightens the muscle and fascia of the abdominal wall creating an abdominal profile that is smoother and firmer.

This type of surgery is usually sought by patients with loose or sagging tissues after pregnancy or major weight loss. Even individuals of otherwise normal body weight and proportion can develop an abdomen that protrudes or is loose and sagging due to aging, heredity, prior surgery, and fluctuations in weight. A tummy tuck is not a substitute for weight loss or an appropriate exercise program.

Am I a Candidate?
Someone who would be a good candidate for tummy tuck Is a mom Who has some multiple children or someone who had a massive weight loss and because of that they have access amount of skin above or below the belly button and also muscle separation so essentially what tummy tuck does is cut the excess amount of skin above and below the belly button and repair the abdominal muscles and in doing that a create a new opening for the belly button and incision from hip to hip and hear what I always say what separates a surgeon from another surgeon. we want to make sure that the belly button is inverted and there’s no scar outside of the belly button and looks very natural and as far as incision we would want to place an incision very very low so you can hide it in any Bikini line .

What Is the Treatment Like?
The area of skin that will be removed is carefully marked, and then an incision is made on the bikini line from hip bone to hip bone. Your surgeon then makes a second incision around the navel. Your surgeon pulls down excess skin and removes it, along with the underlying fatty tissue. Your surgeon may also bring your abdominal muscles together with sutures to tighten them and trim your waist.
After the procedure, the incision is closed with several layers of sutures. With a mini-tummy tuck, the incision is much shorter, and there is usually no incision around the navel. Some of the lower abdominal skin is removed and the lower abdominal muscles are tightened. Mini-tummy tucks can be effective with patients who have relatively mild abdominal bulges or excess skin only in the lower part of the abdomen.
Since many patients are not candidates for a mini-tummy tuck, it is important to discuss your options with your physician.

Now what we do differently in our practice is when when someone gets a tummy tuck we also address the pubic area to make sure it stays flat and lifted. so we do the pubic lift at the same time that we’re doing the tummy tuck and this is part of a tummy tuck. we also liposuction the flanks and upper abdomen at the same time as tummy tuck to get everything nice and tight. Also to ease the postoperative journey we have added extra treatments . One of those is Exparel which is local anesthetic injected during your surgery and will essentially make you pain free for 4 days and will decrease the need of using narcotics and allows you to get up and walk around right after your surgey and will speed up your recovery time . Another addition of ours is hyperbaric treatments right after your surgery to help your recovery time by easing the pain and help your bruising abs helps your healing time . We also provide you with lymphatic messages and customized fitting garments and scar care. Our procedures are all inclusive.

The initial recovery for tummy tuck would be 2 weeks but you can’t do any heavy lifting or strenuous activities for 6-8 weeks post surgey to allow for proper healing . You will also have access to Dr. Azad personally 24/7 post your surgery.

How much does a tummy tuck cost?
The long answer is that pricing varies widely for tummy tucks, especially in the state of Florida. Don't take shortcuts with your body. You will definitely be able to find a less expensive tummy tuck, but I challenge you to find similar results to my work. That may sound a bit confident, but the differences can be seen throughout my Instagram account. Natural belly buttons, low scars, and nice curves, to name only a few major keys. Plus, our procedures are all-inclusive.
That means your overnight stay, your scar care, your garments, your anesthesia and facility fees, all of your aftercare is included. Because of our beautiful facility and in-house surgical center, we can provide top notch, concierge service to our patients in a boutique environment that caters just to you.
Do I need a tummy tuck?
The best candidates for a tummy tuck are patients who have:
-
Loose skin in the abdomen
-
Skin that hangs over a c-section scar
-
Bulging of the tummy muscles
-
An unsightly belly button or small umbilical hernia
-
Stretch marks across the lower abdomen
In the majority of cases, these patients are moms who are finished having children, but they may also be men or women who have lost a considerable amount of weight. Such patients may have had weight loss surgery such as a gastric bypass or lap band procedure.

Patients over the age of 50 are at a higher risk of complications from abdominoplasty and mommy makeover surgery. We do not advise these procedures in patients of this age group.

You should be at your ideal weight before a tummy tuck.
Each person's ideal weight is different, but as a rule, your BMI should be less than 30 to have a tummy tuck. The goal should be to have more loose skin and less fat. This doesn't mean a crash diet before your tummy tuck surgery, but rather, a gradual weight loss is best.
Some women carry their weight in their abdomen--and worse--inside their abdomen. This is "visceral" fat or male-pattern fat (think of a man's "beer belly" where there is no loose skin and the abdomen is firm and full). These patients are not good candidates for abdominoplasty because there is no way to tighten the muscles; there is no place for the fat to go.
In general, plastic surgery is best approached from an ideal body weight. This provides the best results with the lowest chance of complications, goals we can both agree on.
Calculate your BMI before your tummy tuck. The goal before abdominoplasty surgery is a BMI of 30 or less.
Wait at least 6 months after pregnancy and 1 year after weight loss surgery.
Patience is key to have great results with a tummy tuck. If you're a new mom, you should wait 6 months after breastfeeding before having a tummy tuck. I like my patients at a physiological baseline before surgery, and breastfeeding clearly has a large impact on metabolism and weight. Pregnancy can also lower your blood counts, so wait at least 6 months after pregnancy before scheduling a consultation for a tummy tuck surgery. Following weight loss surgery, I recommend you wait at least a year afterwards so that your weight can stabilize and so that your metabolism can normalize.
