The Brazilian Butt Lift surgery process is a type of fat grafting or fat transplanting. The goal is to improve or augment the area where the fat is being transplanted. The method involves extracting fat by liposuction, processing it, then re-injecting the purified fat into the area requiring improvement.”

Because the filler is the individual’s own fat, the outcomes of a Brazilian Butt Lift operation and other fat grafting procedures can last for several years, possibly even decades. It is important to understand that about 50% of the transferred fat cells will be reabsorbed by your body and the other 50% of the transferred fat cells, if they survive, will remain forever. What is the recovery time?
Brazilian Butt Lift surgery patients normally take approximately 6-8 weeks to fully recover. Patients need to expect some bruising or swelling. Compression garments must be worn post-treatment to help decrease the swelling. Please note that it can take up to six months to see the final outcome.
